As part of our efforts to better serve our users, we are launching Lake in Japanese! With this new addition, Lake will be speaking the native language of 42 million more iOS users and this is super exciting!

Did you know that three-quarters of Lake artists are women? They come from 27 countries and, to us, this means a lot!

We know that many more people could be enjoying the benefits of the relaxing experience that Lake brings, if they weren’t put off by the language barrier. That is why we are super happy to be getting rid of the barrier country by country. This time, it’s Russia’s turn. Lake just got fluent in Russian, giving users a chance to try something new for a quality time-out. This is quite an achievement, since we are now able to reach 17 million more people on iOS in their native language.

Olá, Brazilian-Portuguese!

We are super happy to announce that a new language has been added to Lake! From now on, we also speak fluent Brazilian-Portuguese. It is the sixth most natively spoken language in the world and has an estimated 210 million speakers. Quite the crowd, right?

Isadora is a young Brazilian artist born and raised in the stunning city of Rio de Janeiro. But her influences come from everywhere: from current international designers to local art-déco illustrators. This vibrant mix can be seen in her drawings, in which she depicts expressions of happiness, fun, and comfort.

2019 was our 3rd year as Lake Coloring. A year full of captivating events - some expected, and some quite unexpected. Along the way, we have crossed paths with many incredible people, created loads of wonderful memories and worked our butts off to grow Lake.
